Before you can start trading on Kairos, you need to fund your Solana wallet with USDC.

What You Need

To trade on Kairos, you need:

1. SOL - For transaction fees (gas)

2. USDC - For placing bets on predictions

Minimum Requirements:

• 0.01 SOL for transaction fees (~$1-2 USD)

• Any amount of USDC to start trading

Getting SOL

Method 1: Buy on Exchange

1. Sign up on a centralized exchange:

   • Coinbase

   • Binance

   • Kraken

   • FTX (if available in your region)

2. Complete KYC verification

3. Buy SOL with fiat currency

4. Withdraw SOL to your wallet address

Method 2: Use On-Ramp Services

Buy SOL directly in your wallet:

Phantom Wallet:

1. Open Phantom wallet

2. Click "Buy" or "Add Funds"

3. Choose Moonpay or another provider

4. Enter amount and payment method

5. Complete the purchase

Solflare Wallet:

1. Open Solflare

2. Click "Buy Crypto"

3. Select SOL and enter amount

4. Complete payment via card or bank

Method 3: Cross-Chain Bridge

If you have crypto on other chains:

1. Use Phantom Bridge

2. Connect source and destination wallets

3. Select token to bridge (e.g., ETH → SOL)

4. Approve and execute bridge

5. Wait for confirmation (5-15 minutes)

Getting USDC

Method 1: Buy on Exchange

1. Buy USDC on an exchange

2. Withdraw to your Solana address

3. Important: Select "Solana" network, not Ethereum

Method 2: Swap SOL for USDC

Use a DEX to swap your SOL for USDC:

Phantom Swap:

1. Open Phantom wallet

2. Click "Swap"

3. Select: SOL → USDC

4. Enter amount

5. Review fees and rate

6. Confirm swap

Jupiter Exchange:

1. Go to jup.ag

2. Connect wallet

3. Select: SOL → USDC

4. Get best rate across DEXs

5. Execute swap

Method 3: Direct Purchase

Some services allow direct USDC purchase:

Check in Wallet

1. Open your wallet

2. View token list

3. Verify you have:

   • SOL for gas fees

   • USDC for trading

2. Connect your wallet

3. Click on your profile/wallet address

4. View your USDC balance

Troubleshooting

Transaction Failed

Not enough SOL for gas:

• Buy more SOL for transaction fees

• Minimum 0.01 SOL recommended

Wrong Network:

• Ensure you're using Solana Mainnet

• Not Ethereum or other chains

USDC Not Showing

Wrong Token:

• Ensure it's USDC on Solana (SPL token)

• Not USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20)

Refresh Wallet:

• Close and reopen wallet

• Check on Solana Explorer

Withdrawal Pending

• Exchange withdrawals can take 5-30 minutes

• Check transaction on Solscan

• Contact exchange support if delayed
